Saturday, June 26th was the last RYE meeting before we leave. Leaving the meeting I felt prepared. As the days close in I am excited. This is a one in a million experience. Even now I know the date. August 9th. August 9th is the day everything will change. I will become independent. “An adult”, some may say. I am looking forward to it, yet terrified. Guess we will see what’s in store.
